Hey, I just wanted to say something quick. We finished "Doll" and "Pretend" and the two songs can be
found in the music section ready to download. We've also made some new pictures available in the picture section of the website, which
you guys should take a look at if you have the time. At the moment we are trying to finish the drum and bass tracks from "Breathe" and
"Overrated". Ok I'm going to go get to work!

Hey, back with another update. I have a bunch of important news today. First, it's been a year since I
opened this site on blueshiftband.com, so I'm just looking forward to another year here at this URL. Second, Lonely Window is up for
download in the music section, and you guys should feel free to download the song. Hmm what else... Oh yeah, the time is soon coming,
for us to "release" our first cd. We have a total of 11 of the 13 or 14 tracks done. That means that we will work a little more but we
expect (and hope) that we can finish it relativly quickly. This cd has been a long time in the making, and if we would finally have it
done we could finally do something else. We are still looking for a drummer, if you know anyone, let me know. See you later.

Hey everyone, its a new year, and had some problems again, im single incase that concerns anyone.
But lets get to the news! "Lonely Window" is almost done, we are now recording the last pieces of the song, and we only have to
mix down a couple of tracks yet. Soon the song should be available on this website. In the meantime we've done a lot with the drums,
we're using a new method for recording the drums, that hopefully will produce a better quality recording. And that was it for today,
til next time.

We finally finished something. I uploaded "Save Yourself" and "Big Nothing", so you can finally
download the new songs. We are now working on a new Song. There were a few people, that wanted me to finish this song,
after they had heard it on the demo. The song is called "Lonely Window" and was written about the tough time I had with my
ex-girlfriend. Und now to some good news; My birthday is in 4 days. I'll be 22. Oh and before i forget, you can also download
a preview version of "Lonely Window" from my server. The address is:

It's been months since I last wrote something in here, so why am I writing anything at all? Because
there is a lot to tell. First of all, I am very happy for the frist time in what seems like forever, I actually have a new girlfriend, and
she is just awesome. Second of all, we (the band) have decided to re-record some of the older songs, since we finally know how
to correctly record them. "One Day" and "Big Nothing" are now finished, but I still have to upload them. "Save Yourself" will also soon
be done, the drums and guitar tracks are done and all we need yet are the bass and vocals. The only thing that we are missing
right now is our drummer, he's working a lot and we haven't seen him for weeks. Because of this I'm playing drums on the re-recorded
songs until he can find the time. We'll see what happens.

I finally got back! After 6 months I'm finally home or actually not home because that would be germany.
But lets get to the news. The demo CD is done: 9 finished Songs, 10 preview tracks, CD-Extra for the PC, and just over an hour of music.
The cover art isn't ready for printing but that will soon be taken care of. If you want to get a copy of our CD, just let me know and I'll
send you the CD for free. Send me an email with your name and address and then you'll get it in the mail. Now to another topic. I've
written so many new songs and stuff, that the band has to learn it all, but on top of that we have to practice all of the old stuff so
that we can get back up to speed. We have already started rebuilding the Studio and we hope that this time we can get a better sound
out of it. And one more little thing, I finally submitted the Blue Shift Official Band Website to a few search engines, so that peole will be
able to find this site. Hopefully that works. Until next time.

Hey everybody, its been a while since I've written anything here but its no big deal.
I bought the domain name http://blueshiftband.com, so feel free to type that in, it will at least be easier to get to
this site. But now to another topic. You'd have thought that this site would've gotten pretty slow since I'm living in germany
now, but thats actually not the case! Instead, I bought a guitar and, together with the talented Bill, learned some good guitar
playing! Luckly he had a mic sent here from home, so that we could record. Actually we've already put together
some tracks! You can download his song here, and my song can be
either downloaded here or in the music section of the website,
where you can also find the lyrics.

The promo-pictues can now be found in the picture portion of the website. A new song has also
been made available for download, its called "Doll." Just 3 weeks until I have to leave, this summer I'm studying at the University
of Marburg in germany, so in the coming months the site will probably not be updated so freqeuntly.

It's been pretty longs since I've written anything in here. All of the songs found in the music
secontion are now up for download. I'm now working on the bios, and the new server. The server should soon be totally put
together, actually as soon as i design the case and buy the plexiglas I can install it. If that all works out I'm going to buy the
domain name: www.blueshiftband.com so that it'll be easier to type in. So we'll see what happens with that...until next time.

Fist of all Die-Cast was finally finshed yesterday! It's been about 3 weeks since we started and the
song is finally finished. Last time I mentioned a guestbook, the book is almost done, the english version is only available on the new
server. So when the server is running you can find the book here. The german version
should be out shortly since it's really easy to code dynamic HTML with PHP. In case you find any mistakes in the book, report them
to me.

It's been a while since I've written in here, but that's actually not a bad thing. The song "Die-Cast
is almost perfect, you can get the mp3 in the musik section. Feel free to say what you think about it, we would love to hear from
you! I also set up a new server so that I won't have any problems with large files. I want to code a guestbook too, aber first I have
to teach myself some php...

Everything is ready for recording! We finshed the tick-track for the first song, of course we want
to stay with the beat. It looks like the first song that we are going to finish will be "Die-Cast". First the acoustic version is going to
be released and if we have time we'll also do the album version. So far everything is working out great. So for next time expect the
first recording!

This weekend we want to start recording but we'll see if that works out. Right now I don't have any
software that I can use to mix the tracks together. There is free-ware that I can download but if that doesn't work then I'll have to buy
something else. If mixing the tracks together becomes a problem I'll post the scratch-tracks for download anyway. So don't worry you'll
be hearing something soon.

We almost have everything that we need to record our songs. We still need a couple of bass drum heads
and some cables. We should have started already but there isn't much money and new equipment is expensive. So unfortunatly
it will take a little bit longer before we can record.

So the hurricane is over and everything is fine. We planned to start recording on saturday but that's
not going to happen because of time conflicts. This comming week I'll be getting the rest of the microphones so that we can record
the drums. You should soon see something new in the music section. Take a look!

I recieved our second mixer today. Aside from any unforseen circumstances we will start recording
studio versions of our songs. As soon as they are finished they'll be up for download in the music section. Bear with us as we have no
experience with mixing or recording.
